Pregnancy Massage
Massage in pregnancy is a wonderful treatment to help relax and revive the mind and body. Through 40 weeks the baby is constantly growing and in turn a women's body goes through many changes, both hormonal and physical. These changes can cause a variety of problems from morning sickness to swollen ankles to strong emotional feelings. Massage can help relieve many minor common ailments associated with pregnancy, so while mum remains calm and relaxed, that can only have beneficial effects on baby as well.

Contra-indications for massage:
If you have had any problems through your pregnancy then you will need to get permission from your GP or midwife.
Any major placental disturbances such as placenta previa
Threatened abortions or infections
Skin rashes or open sores
Inflammation
Raised or distended varicose veins
Heavy discharge (watery or bloody)
Diabetes
Contagious illnesses
Fever- Vomiting
- Unusual/undiagnosed pain
- Pre-eclampsia
- High blood pressure
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhoea
