|  After Care Advice It is always important to take time to relax and reflect after your massage. Here are a few ideas that might help to prolong the effect of your treatment.
- Make sure you drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins disturbed by the massage. If you experience a slight headache it is your body’s way of telling you it needs your help by drinking more water. Refrain from drinking carbonated drinks, alcohol, coffee or tea.
- You may feel hungry so try eating a light snack. Try to refrain from eating a heavy meal as your body will need to concentrate it's energy on healing.
- You may feel relaxed or tired after your massage so take time to relax, you might want to go for a walk and get some fresh air. Take care if you are driving or working.
- Reflect on how your body feels and how you can take care of yourself on a daily basis.
- If you develop muscle soreness after your massage then apply cold and then heat to the area. You could also try some light stretching before having a warm bath.
